	Country Life Open Day 2008
First highlight of the afternoon was Open Day regular Scott MacKenzie with a fascinating insight into Spey Casting.
Next up on the manhole cover was Welsh internationalist Hywel Morgan whose observations on and demonstrations of fly casting will be remembered for a long time. (Did you recognise anyone in any of his impressions?)
As ever Edinburgh Fly Tyers were on hand (he-he) to provide the indoor demonstrations.....
........and no day would be complete without the opportunity to try out new toys!

Mr Alison from Bathgate with a 8lb 14oz Rainbow caught with a White Cat on Sunday 3rd February
Alan McLaren of Larbert netted a 9lb 2 7/8oz and a 7lb 14oz Rainbow.
